Why was my payment declined during online car rental booking?

Online payment declination could happen due to a variety of reasons, including but not limited to wrong card details (expiration date, CVV, number), incomplete authentication, disabled online or international transactions, insufficient funds in the account, etc. Make sure you are getting all the things right for a successful payment.


However, if your payment is still being declined, contact your bank to gather information on the matter. Alternatively, you can choose to use another card to make the payment.


Note: In case you are using someone else’s card to reserve a car rental online, make sure to produce a valid credit card (as specified in the Rental Terms) in the name of the main driver at the rental desk during your pick-up.
