Why have I still not received the security deposit even after the stipulated timeframe?

If you still haven’t received the refund and the expected timeframe has passed, you must check your credit card statement first. If you notice an increased credit that would mean that you have received the refund and if the credit appears the same, you must get in touch with your bank or the supplier.


The process to refund the security deposit amount is initiated as soon as the rental car is returned. If the vehicle is returned in its original condition, the full amount is refunded immediately which can take a few days to reflect in your account. However, if the supplier finds some issues with the returned car like damages, missing fuel, etc., they will release the deposit after making necessary deductions.
