Yes, you can add one or more additional driver(s) to your rental. However, it is to be noted that the terms and conditions can vary from supplier to supplier and an extra fee might be added to your rental quote for each additional driver you add to the booking. Some car hire companies also provide rental deals that allow you to add an additional driver for free, which will be clearly specified in the supplier’s Rental Terms.
The additional driver(s) must be present with the main driver when collecting the vehicle to sign the rental agreement. Additionally, all the renter’s requirements, including age and documentation, will also be applicable to the additional driver.
Note: During the car rental pick-up, the main driver has to be present primarily.
